Born in Latin America, Danilo McGarry began my journey in a place untouched by technology, facing challenges that only deepened my drive. Moving between countries, adapting to new cultures, and overcoming language barriers, I discovered resilience early on and channeled adversity into motivation.

At 15, frequent moves due to my father’s work offered diverse experiences, eventually leading to a degree in business and technology from the University of Bath. Starting his career in banking, he quickly rose through companies like BNP Paribas and JP Morgan, ultimately joining RBC at a pivotal time during the 2008 financial crisis. Here, he introduced AI and automation strategies that played a key role in transforming RBC into a market leader and eventually earned one of the youngest directorships in the bank’s history.

His career evolved from finance to consulting, leading him to found an AI consultancy. Danilo has helped 100's of companies in Finance, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Logistics, Tech, Education and Automotive develop new products and services - reaching a total of USD$ 2 billion in extra sales or cost savings to date. Danilo also worked closely with governments to help modernize their services and has worked closely with regulators around the world in implementing better rules and governance on Ai.

Later Danilo became head AI programs at Citigroup and then UnitedHealth Group (America's 5th largest company & a Fortune 5 company), achieving impactful advancements in both sectors. Most recently, Danilo helped a 15 year old accounting and business services company grow its valuation from $900 million to $4.9 billion in just 4 years in an ultra intense and challenging Private Equity backdrop.

Throughout his journey, he remains committed to spreading practical AI knowledge worldwide, guiding organizations on how to use cutting-edge technology to address real business needs. Today, his insights reach millions of people and companies through speaking engagements, publications, and advisory roles, aiming to empower others to realize AI’s true potential. On a weekly basis he trains partners, leaders and employees at the worlds top consultancy firms on Digital Transformation, Ai and related topics. To date he has trained over 100,000 senior leaders on these subjects with a consistent average feedback score of 4.8 out of 5.

If Danilo could achieve this without early access to technology or language fluency, he hopes to inspire others to believe they can overcome any obstacle with focus and determination.

"My mother is my first and greatest source of inspiration. Raising me on her own for many years, her hustle and determination were nothing short of remarkable. She juggled multiple jobs, faced numerous challenges, yet always provided a loving and nurturing environment for me. Her relentless work ethic and unyielding spirit taught me the value of perseverance and hard work.

Later on a huge influence in my life has been my wife. Her journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. She migrated to another country with nothing to her name, overcoming countless obstacles to build a new life. Today, she is not only an astonishing mother and wife but also the person who makes me laugh the most. Her resilience, strength, and unwavering support have been my anchor, providing me with the encouragement and joy that fuels my daily pursuits. Marriage also teaches you so much, which is a journey I am grateful to be a student at with her.

My children have also profoundly shaped who I am. They have taught me invaluable lessons about compassion, sacrifice, and responsibility. The experience of bringing up another human being is both humbling and enlightening. It has shown me the depths of love and the importance of being a role model. Their innocent yet insightful perspectives continually remind me of the simple, yet powerful values in life.

Beyond these personal connections, I draw inspiration from everyone I encounter—from farmers I have met who work tirelessly to cultivate the land to world leaders who shape the course of history, who I have also been lucky to meet too. Each person’s story and struggle offer unique insights and lessons.

Inspiration is a universal gift, available to all of us if we remain open to it. My life is a testament to the fact that we can learn from everyone around us, and it is this diverse tapestry of influences that has shaped me into the person I am today."
